Ed Schmidt, Director

Ed is a Director at MCR, uniquely positioned for this point in time in the utility business given his 30 years of experience in energy efficiency and resource planning, forecasting, rates and regulation in gas and electric utilities as well as brief tenures at an energy/environmental advocacy non-profit and as an indigent healthcare social services provider. His utility expertise includes all aspects of energy product, service, and program policy, planning, design and implementation, as well as utility regulatory policy analysis and testimony in support of rate, forecasting and EE matters. He has presented to audiences including the Executive Office of the President, US DOE, US EPA, Energy Foundation, Association of Energy Services Professionals, Southern Gas Association, Energy Solutions Center, and American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy.
